Phoebe Ritchie

I'm a soulful singer & songwriter from Indianapolis who deeply values the creative process and the beautifully diverse community surrounding it. With every song I pen, authenticity is my starting point and my finish line. My writing encourages emotional expression: putting language to feeling in order to facilitate revelation, growth, and healing. Whether I’m writing a song for my own processing, sharing my art with 100 of my friends and family members, or performing in a live show of 100,000, I recognize the value in feeling seen and understood – and the unique power a song has to do that. My hope is to cultivate community, create safe spaces to communicate, and foster a sense of belonging.

On any given day, I’m somewhere around Indianapolis, arranging and tracking vocals in sessions, writing for my own and others’ projects, singing as a guest in iconic venues like the Jazz Kitchen and Turntable, leading worship at Traders Point Christian Church, jamming at house shows, and even popping up at Indy’s Circle of Lights a time or two. Most of the time though, you can find me with an iced honey lavender latte in my happy place: creating in my home studio.
